In a match featuring 11 service breaks, the top seeded Latisha Chan and Kveta Peschke won the 2018 Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic over #3 seed Lyudmyla and Nadiia Kichenok 6-4, 6-1. Chan and Peschke broke serve seven times, including five consecutive to end the match.

In the first set, the breaks started early as Chan was broken by the Kichenok sisters to begin the match. Chan/Peschke returned the favor, breaking Nadiia Kichenok to start a string of four straight games won. On her next serve, Kichenok held serve to cut the lead to 4-2 and broke Peschke to pull within 4-3, but the next three service games were all broken, resulting in a Chan/Peschke first set win. In the second set, the Kichenoks broke Peschke for a second time but could not capitalize on their serve for the rest of the match, with Chan/Peschke winning six straight to close out the second set and the match for the title in their first tournament as a doubles team.
