SAN JOSÉ, CA (July 24, 2019) – The first day of the 2019 Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic is going to be filled to the brim with activities for children with the announcement of the Kids Day Tiebreaker Session. Immediately following USTA Kids Day presented by United Airlines, the tournament has extended the fun and games with its Tiebreaker Session on Monday, July 29 from 11:30 am to 6 pm.

Open to children ages 3 and up, the Kids Day Tiebreaker Session will take place all around the tournament site, featuring tennis themed activities and skill challenges designed to be active and engaging. Kids will have the opportunity to put their coordination, reflexes, and skills, to the test in a variety of games.
Activities include developing hand-eye coordination in Swingball, catching tennis balls that are launched into the air in Tennis Popcorn, hitting tennis balls into a ball trolley in Bucketball, and throwing a beanbag through a target in Beanbag Toss. There will even be games of Giant Jenga and Connect 4 to test their gamesmanship.
As well as having fun, the Kids Day Tiebreaker Session is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle to children, and to highlight the benefits of playing tennis in staying active and fit.
Now entering its 49th year, the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic is a weeklong WTA Premier event bringing the worlds of tennis and technology together in a festival of sports and entertainment.
