SAN JOSÉ, CA (July 30, 2021) – The Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic qualifying draw has been announced and the battle for the last four spots is shaping up to be highly competitive.
The qualifying draw is highlighted by 2015 Nottingham Open champion Ana Konjuh along with Stanford products Carol Zhao and Kristie Ahn.
Bay Area fans will have the opportunity to see Zhao and Ahn in Saturday’s first two matches on stadium. Zhao will face No. 6 seed Lesley Pattinama Kerkhove while Ahn opens against Na-Lae Han.
The fourth-seeded Konjuh headlines Saturday’s play on Court 1, beginning her qualifying journey against Japan’s Eri Hozumi.
The qualifying tournament will take place July 31 – August 1 and is open to the public.
